The first week of school I scheduled a field trip on Friday. It was perfect timing.
We went to see "Flight of the Butterflies" at the iMax movie dome. The plan was to follow that up with a trip to a local botanical garden to see the live butterflies. However, the weather turned out to be stormy so we enjoyed the day at the Science Museum.
So glad Poppy was able to join us on the first of many field trips for the year.
We had a great time enjoying the exhibits, petting snakes (yuck!), and watching rat basketball. It ended up being a long day, but a fun way to spend the first Friday of the school year.
