that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding." Ephesians 1:7-8

Flashback

Something reminded me of this photo today. Luke (age 4) and Ethan (age 2) shared both their room and their obsession with trash trucks. They were delighted to make trash piles with toys, books, clothes or whatever they could find. This is what I found one morning only 8 days after Aaron was born.
They had emptied their dresser and many books into their "trash truck" and were riding on the side of the truck making all sorts of wonderful noises.  I could have never imagined the bond these two would form and how much more creative they would be in each others company! Silly boys!

I did it again.

So, I have this habit of doing one thing and then getting interrupted by something else. Sometimes, I just forget that I was multitasking. Anyone relate to that?? :)

Can you guess what happened... again??

I love to drink water out of this huge mason jar. I refill it at least three times a day. It fits perfectly in this spot and can fill up while I walk away and do something else. However, I've been known to forget... until I hear the water pouring all over the floor. Oh my! What a mess I make! Maybe this is one habit I need to eliminate. :}

Silly

I have gotten entirely TOO serious in my old age.
Part II of the post on law vs. grace will have to wait for another time!

In the meantime... my focus this weekend is to have fun! Here is some proof that there was a reason my nickname was "Silly Jilly." In college, we used to dress up in crazy costumes and go around to all our friends houses and ring the doorbell. At the time I thought it was hilarious! Amazing that I convinced Darin to join in my shenanigans!
I guess some people will do anything when they are in love. :)

So it's time to stop focusing on everything on my to do list and smile a little. :)
 Is this the face my boys see all the time?? I sure hope not.
No one was harmed in this photo! :)
I know three little boys who would love to join in my laughter.

If your doorbell rings this weekend, you never know
who might be there waiting to make you laugh!
